"I am a sensory-based clinician that looks at the child holistically. My core pillars are connection, trust, and compassion."

Farwa Husain, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner, Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
Neuro-diversity Affirming Clinician

Farwa is a bilingual speech-language pathologist with a passion for working with children of all abilities. After earning her master’s degree from the prestigious Columbia University, Teachers College, she has gained over 13 years of clinical experience in early intervention, public education, pediatric and adult medical inpatient facilities, sub-acute care, and private therapy clinics.

Farwa founded One-on-One Speech Therapy out of her desire to provide the highest quality speech and language therapy to families in her community, by considering each child holistically. Her sensory-driven and play-based therapy approaches help children unlock their optimal level of learning and grow into their most authentic selves. This method has been nationally recognized as Farwa presented at the 2022 American Speech and Hearing Association National Convention with Marge Blanc and colleagues on "Using Natural Language Acquisition to Support Autistic and Neurotypical Gestalt Language Development."
